The visit demonstrates the Fund's interest in disaster risk management activities in Vietnam, while also creating conditions for the two sides to strengthen connections, exchanges and information sharing in the field of disaster prevention, response to climate change.
On the Fund's side, there were Mr. Cao Duc Phat - Chairman of the Board of Directors, Executive Director of the Community Disaster Prevention Fund and Lieutenant General Le Phuc Nguyen - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Community Disaster Prevention Fund.
During the working session, Mr. Bui Quang Huy - Deputy Director of the Center - represented the Center to introduce an overview of the functions, tasks, as well as the main activities that the Center has been implementing.

The Fund expressed its impression of the Center's efforts and contributions in building an increasingly modern and effective disaster prevention and control system, closely linked to community practices.

The meeting took place in an open, friendly and highly constructive atmosphere. The two sides agreed to continue to maintain connections, share information and seek opportunities for cooperation in the coming time, in order to contribute to improving the effectiveness of disaster prevention and control work, towards the safety and sustainable development of the community./.
