The Disaster Management Policy and Technology Center (DMPTC)

The Disaster Management Policy and Technology Center (DMPTC) is a public service entity under the Department of Dike and Disaster Management Authority. Our core mandate is to support state management functions and deliver specialized public services in dike safety and disaster mitigation, in strict accordance with legal frameworks.

Boasting a distinguished multi-disciplinary team of highly qualified experts with extensive field experience, the Center serves as a strategic bridge. We provide technical assistance to government authorities, local administrations, enterprises, and communities. By fostering robust domestic and international partnerships, we strive to minimize casualties and property loss, while safeguarding natural resources, the environment, and cultural heritage from the impact of natural hazards—thereby ensuring national security and sustainable development.

Trung tâm Chính sách và Kỹ thuật phòng, chống thiên tai là đơn vị sự nghiệp công lập thuộc Cục Quản lý đê điều và Phòng, chống thiên tai; có chức năng phục vụ quản lý nhà nước, thực hiện các dịch vụ công về đê điều và phòng, chống thiên tai và các dịch vụ khác theo quy định của pháp luật.

Với đội ngũ cán bộ đông đảo có trình độ chuyên môn cao, nhiều kinh nghiệm công tác, Trung tâm giúp kết nối, hỗ trợ quản lý nhà nước, hỗ trợ các địa phương, doanh nghiệp, cộng đồng và phối hợp với các đối tác nhằm giảm đến mức thấp nhất thiệt hại về người và tài sản, hạn chế sự phá hoại tài nguyên thiên nhiên, môi trường và di sản văn hóa do thiên tai gây ra, góp phần bảo đảm sự phát triển bền vững của đất nước, bảo đảm an ninh, quốc phòng.

Các hoạt động do Trung tâm thực hiện trong hơn 20 năm qua đảm bảo chất lượng, tiến độ và được các cơ quan, tổ chức, người dân đánh giá cao.
