Congress of DMPTC for the 2025 - 2027 term

14:43:39, 08/07/2025 On May 19, 2025, in a solemn atmosphere, on the occasion of the 134th birthday anniversary of the great President Ho Chi Minh, the Party Cell of the Center for Policy and Techniques for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control - under the Party Committee of the Department of Dyke Management and Natural Disaster Prevention and Control - solemnly held the Party Cell Congress for the term 2025-2027.

The congress was attended by all Party members in the Party Cell. This is an important political event to evaluate the results of the implementation of tasks for the 2022-2025 term and to set out directions, goals, tasks, and solutions for the new term.

During the 2022-2025 term, the Party Cell clearly demonstrated its role as the core political leader in the unit. The Center has effectively implemented many professional activities such as policy consulting, technical consulting on natural disaster prevention works, application of information technology and remote sensing technology, database construction, training, and communication to raise public awareness. The total revenue reached more than 117 billion VND from nearly 120 consulting contracts for survey and design.

Party building work achieved many positive results. Party cell activities were maintained in a disciplined manner, 100% of Party members completed their tasks, and no Party members violated the law. The Party cell actively organized classes to study resolutions and topics according to the direction of superiors; focused on fostering political theory, admitted 5 new party members, ensuring the correct procedures and quality.

With a democratic spirit and high responsibility, the Congress elected the Party Committee for the 2025-2027 term, including 05 comrades:
- Comrade Bui Thi Quynh Nga - Director of DMPTC;
- Comrade Nguyen Phuong Nam - Deputy Director of DMPTC;
- Comrade Bui Quang Huy - Deputy Director of DMPTC
- Comrade Nguyen Thanh Kien - Head of the Department of Dike Engineering;
- Comrade Pham Tuan Son - Head of the Department of Planning and Synthesis.

At the meeting, the Congress passed a Resolution with the general goal: "Building a clean and strong Party Cell; improving leadership capacity and quality of Party members; leading the Center to excellently complete political tasks, develop expertise, expand the consulting market, and proactively adapt to new requirements".

In addition, the Party Cell continues to focus on improving the quality of thematic activities; strengthening inspection and supervision of Party members; promoting the application of digital transformation and improving working processes; promoting the effectiveness of mass organization work, taking good care of the lives of officials and employees.

The success of the Party Cell Congress of the Center for Disaster Prevention and Control Policy and Technique for the 2025-2027 term demonstrates the spirit of solidarity, democracy and responsibility of all Party members. The Congress conveyed a clear message about the Party Cell's will to innovate, create and aspire to rise in the new development period.

All Party members and officials of the Center are determined to successfully implement the Congress Resolution, contributing to building the Center increasingly strong and professional, maintaining its role as a leading consulting unit in the field of disaster prevention and control and dike management.
