In the jubilant and sacred atmosphere of the whole country celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), this morning, April 28, 2025, at the Inter-agency Area No. 54, Lane 102, Truong Chinh Street, Phuong Mai Ward, Dong Da District, Hanoi City, the Inter-agency Area Youth Union solemnly held a flag-raising ceremony and a propaganda session to review the heroic history of the nation.

Training to improve knowledge and skills in communication on disaster prevention and control

On March 27-28, 2025, DMPTC coordinated with the Hanoi Department of Irrigation and Disaster Prevention to organize a training course on "Improving knowledge and skills in communication on disaster prevention and control for civil servants and public employees performing propaganda work" for 40 officers working on disaster prevention and control at the Department to implement Official Dispatch No. 102/TLPCTT-KHTV dated March 17, 2025 of the Hanoi Department of Irrigation and Disaster Prevention and Control.

The Center for Disaster Prevention and Control Policy and Techniques, in collaboration with the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN-Women), is organizing a training session to collect gender-disaggregated economic livelihood data, age, and other social factors from December 16-18, 2024, in Ca Mau City, Ca Mau Province, for 121 officials working in disaster prevention and control at the provincial, district, and commune levels.
