The key contents of the workshop consisted of the following:
- Introducing the existing Flycam devices of Viet Nam disaster management authority: Phantom 4 Pro, DJI Inspire 2, Mavic.
- Guiding to remove wings, batteries and control to start and take off.
- Guiding to configure parameters on the control screen.
- Guiding to understand information and warnings on the screen.
- Guiding to control basically, use the shooting function of 3 exiting types of flycam.
- Practising on flycam controlling at Yen So Park for effective use.
At the end of the workshop, attendants were required to do a test to review both theory and practice. 100 % officers understood theories, configuration parameters of the Flycams: Phantom 4 Pro, DJI Inspire 2, Mavic, techniques to check equipments before flying, flight safety requirements. Positive results on practice were archived as 100% of attendants can control takeoff and landing. However, to be able to take off and land safely, solve incidents (or emergency landing), there was some officers not satisfied requirements. 18/20 attendants were capable of well controlling.
