Guide to installing and using unmanned aircraft for technical staff of Center for Disaster Prevention Policy and Technology.

10:25:29, 16/03/2020 In the framework of the cooperation between Vietnam Disaster Management Authority and the German Development Cooperation Organization (GIZ), on the morning of March 1, 2018, at the Disaster Prevention Policy and Technology Center, a guiding session on installing and using unmanned aircraft for the Center's technical staff took place.
The purpose of the training session is to strengthen the capacity of the central technician group in the use and operation of unmanned aircraft.

At the training session, Mr. Roman Sorgenfrei - Development Advisor, Integrated Coastal Management Program (ICMP) instructed the installation, use, sharing of experience and applications of unmanned aircraft in surveillance.,monitoring and in disaster management.

On behalf of the Center, Mr. Bui Quang Huy, Deputy Director of the Center highly appreciated the enthusiastic support of GIZ and GIZ's collaborative research projects for Vietnam, especially in the field of disaster management.In the near future, the Center also proposed GIZ to provide training support on processing and analyzing data from unmanned aircraft to map and track for officers of VNDMA.
