Guidance on the use of Disaster Monitoring System for the staff of Disaster Management Policy and Technology center

10:15:20, 03/09/2020 Implementing the direction of the Director General of the Vietnam Disaster Management Authority on the dissemination and guidance on the use of Vietnam Disaster Monitoring System (VNDMS) and the Disaster Monitoring Application (App-VNDMS) for officials of the VNDMA, on August 26, 2020, at Disaster Management Policy and Technology Center, a training team organized and provided instructions to use for officials and employees working at the Center.

Speaking at the training session, Mr. Bui Quang Huy - Deputy Director of the Center introduced the development process of Vietnam Disaster Monitoring System and stated clearly the role and position of the system in support and direction, operating disaster prevention.


At the training session, the Center's staff were instructed, installed and directly used App-VNDMS on personal phones, especially the support functions for staff participating in the prevention of natural disasters’s database management and support for some of the Center's tasks.

After an hour of installation and practice, all staff participating in the training were able to use the functions of the App-VNDMS.
