16:22:3, 15/03/2020 Implementing the task of Vietnam Disaster Management Authority (Standing Office of the Central Steering Committee on Disaster Prevention) assigns the preparation of flood map in the Mekong Delta and assess the area of rice flooded

Disaster Prevention Policy and Technology Center cooperated with the National Remote Sensing Department to activate the Sentinel Asian, and cooperated with GIS Center, National Institute of Agricultural Planning and Planning (NIAPP) to develop flood maps and flooded rice areas. This activity will continue during the flood process and regularly report to Vietnam Disaster Management Authority.
