9:40:41, 31/03/2022 Firefighters in Boulder city, Colorado state, western United States have controlled 21% of the forest fire and so far, there have been no casualties in this fire.

The fire destroyed about 81 hectares of Resort near the city of Boulder.

Over the weekend, a wildfire broke out in the state of Colorado, in the western United States, forcing about 1,600 people to evacuate. Firefighters have partially contained the fire.

This latest wildfire is spreading and has destroyed about 81 hectares of forest near the city of Boulder.

The city government ordered nearly 20,000 people to evacuate on the afternoon of March 26 because the fire had spread to a residential area on the southern outskirts of the city and a national center for atmospheric research.

However, city officials later reduced the size of the number of evacuees to about 1,600 as hundreds of firefighters, with the help of firefighting planes, dropped water bombs and sprayed fire-extinguishing chemicals. promptly localize the fire area.

So far, firefighters have contained 21% of the fire. There were no casualties in this forest fire.

This latest wildfire comes just three months after the Marshall Wildfires caused loss of life and property in Boulder County, destroying more than 1,000 homes and leaving two people missing.

Like many parts of the western United States, for many years, Colorado has suffered from severe drought, with a high potential for large-scale wildfires. Although wildfires are a natural part of the climate cycle and help tackle dead bushes, the scale and intensity of wildfires is increasing.

According to scientists, climate change caused by human activities is changing weather patterns.
