Miracle survivors after earthquakes in Turkey and Syria

Nearly a week since the devastating earthquake that killed tens of thousands of people in Turkey and Syria, amidst the chaos and despair, there are still miraculous survivors, lighting up the light. hope to save more people trapped under the rubble.
On February 11, five days after the earthquake, a 2-month-old baby in the southern city of Antakya was brought out safely by rescuers.
According to the Anadolu news agency, the newborn baby was rescued after being trapped for 128 hours under the rubble.
On the same day, a 70-year-old woman in the city of Kahramanmaras, the epicenter of the magnitude 7.8 earthquake, was also found miraculously alive after being buried for days.
During the rescue and rescue operations that took place on the same day, rescuers also pulled out from the rubble a 2-year-old girl, a sixth-month pregnant woman, a 4-year-old girl and her father.
The magnitude 7.8 earthquake in southern Turkey and northwestern Syria on the morning of February 6 was recorded as the deadliest earthquake in decades in this area.
According to officials and medical workers, the earthquake killed 24,617 people in Turkey and 3,574 people died in Syria. The total number of confirmed deaths as of February 12 is 28,191 people.
Currently, tens of thousands of rescue workers are still actively digging through the rubble in the cold weather, while millions of people are in dire need of aid.
The United Nations says at least 870,000 people across Turkey and Syria are in dire need of hot food to stay warm. Meanwhile, in Syria alone, 5.3 million people may have been displaced.
Meanwhile, the World Health Organization (WHO) said that nearly 26 million people have been affected by the earthquake, and called for the international community to provide emergency aid of $42.8 million for care. medical care.
