Heavy rain causes many roads in Lai Chau to be eroded

9:44:12, 11/06/2021 Last night and early this morning (June 7), in many localities of Lai Chau province, heavy rain caused landslides and traffic jams on many traffic routes.

Specifically, at km 230+340, 258+350, National Highway 4H, in Nam Khao commune, Muong Te district, heavy rain caused landslides, rocks and trees, causing local traffic jams. Also in Muong Te district, heavy rain caused landslides at km 19+500 on the route from Thu Lum to U Ma Tu Khoong border gate; Nam Khao - Ta Tong road and many inter-village and inter-commune roads were also damaged. 


Heavy rain has caused landslides and traffic jams at many points on National Highway 4H and inter-commune and inter-village roads in Muong Te district. 

Mr. Dao Van Khanh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Muong Te district, Lai Chau province said: For the routes managed by the Department of Transport and Communications, the road management units are focusing on machinery and vehicles for construction to overcome. . As for the roads that are managed by the locality, the District People's Committee is also directing contractors and businesses to coordinate with people to temporarily overcome and soon ensure traffic for people.
