Ha Tinh: More than 150 houses with roofs after a tornado

11:8:48, 15/05/2020 Heavy rains accompanied by tornadoes have swept over 150 roofs and ruined many crops of Huong Khe people (Ha Tinh).

This afternoon (11/5), in Huong Khe district, it rained heavily with tornadoes, lasting about 20 minutes.

Whirlwinds damaged the roof of 151 houses in villages: Vinh Hung (45 households), Vinh Truong (56 households), Hoa Son (32 households), Tan Phu (10 households), Phu Hoa (4 households), Phu Yen ( 4 houses) - Hương Xuân commune; many of these have completely unroofed houses.

Rain and tornadoes also broke 40 hectares of rice in 3 communes: Huong Xuan (20 ha), Huong Vinh (3ha), Phu Gia (7ha); broken 3ha corn in Huong Vinh, Phu Gia.

Receiving information, the Huong Khe district authorities were present in time to coordinate with Huong Xuan commune to mobilize forces to help people overcome the consequences. In particular, the priority is given to the people who suffer from severe losses so that people can settle down soon.
