Northern mountainous region to prevent heavy rain, flash floods, landslides

10:36:44, 01/11/2021 According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, today (November 1), there will be rain, rain and thunderstorms in the North and Central Vietnam, especially in the Northern mountainous region with heavy rain. During thunderstorms, watch out for tornadoes, lightning and strong winds. High risk of flash floods and landslides in Dien Bien and Lai Chau.
From the night of October 30 to the early morning of November 1, there was rain in the North, with moderate and heavy rain in the local mountainous areas such as: Muong Nhe (Dien Bien) 188.4mm, Keo Lom (Dien Bien). 72.5mm, Mu Ca (Dien Bien) 59mm, Muong Leo (Son La) 33.8mm…

Forecast, day and night of November 1, in the North, there will be rain and showers, especially in the mountainous region, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain with a rainfall of 30-50mm, in some places more than 80mm.

Hanoi area today and tonight, with rain. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

Risk of flash floods, landslides in mountainous areas and local flooding in low-lying, low-lying areas and riverside. Especially, the risk of flash floods and landslides is high in the districts of Dien Bien province: Muong Nhe, Sin Ho, and Nam Nhon. Lai Chau Province: Muong Te.

During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. The lowest temperature is from: 17-20 degrees Celsius, some places are below 17 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature is from: 22-25 degrees Celsius, some places are more than 26 degrees Celsius.

The Northeast: Cloudy, with rain, showers; In particular, local mountainous areas have moderate and heavy rain. Northeast wind level 2-3. Cold weather. The lowest temperature is from: 18-21 degrees Celsius, in the mountains there are places below 17 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature is from: 21-24 degrees Celsius, in some places more than 24 degrees Celsius.
