Thai Nguyen: New developments in the building of disaster response Plan towards a modern and practical approach

In the context of increasingly complex climate change, proactively developing response scenarios is no longer a matter of choice but an urgent necessity to safeguard the lives and property of the people.

Due to the impacts of climate change, rapid and unsustainable development, natural disasters are becoming increasingly complex and tend to increase in intensity and frequency. In recent years, especially in 2024 and 2025, natural disasters have occurred in almost all localities nationwide, causing severe damage and showing unpredictable trends.

Quang Trung Campaign: A month of "lightning speed" to revive flood-affected areas.

A month after launching the "Quang Trung Campaign," the atmosphere of "rapid construction - rapid completion" is spreading across many new house construction projects in the eastern communes of Dak Lak province. New, spacious houses have begun to spring up, replacing the ruins and desolation left behind by the natural disaster.

Thanh Hoa: Escaped death when dozens of tons of rock fell on house

Early in the morning of February 26, large rocks suddenly fell from the top of a mountain onto a house in the mountainous district of Ba Thuoc, Thanh Hoa province. These rocks were estimated to weigh tens of tons.

Ben Tre proactively responds to drought and salinity

Over the past few days, strong monsoon winds have caused saltwater to intrude deep into the mainland of Ben Tre province. People and the agricultural sector are actively implementing solutions to prevent saltwater intrusion and store fresh water for daily life and production.
