I. STORM EVOLUTION
- On the morning of December 21, a low pressure area in the southern sea of the South China Sea strengthened into a tropical depression.
- On the afternoon of December 23, a tropical depression in the northwestern sea of the Truong Sa archipelago strengthened into a storm, storm No. 10 in 2024, internationally named PABUK.
- On the morning of December 25, storm No. 10 weakened into a tropical depression.
- On the evening of December 25, a tropical depression (weakened from storm No. 10) weakened into a low pressure area in the offshore sea from Ninh Thuan to Ba Ria-Vung Tau.
- At 6:00 p.m., the center of the low pressure area was at about 9.3 degrees North latitude; 109.9 degrees East longitude. The strongest wind in the center of the low pressure area decreased to below level 6 (below 39km/h).
